Erin & Justin | The Gardens of Cranesbury View

Erin & Justin had a beautiful wedding at The Gardens of Cranesbury View in New Braunfels. They had a very New Orleans theme to their big day including a second line dance! It was my first time shooting one of these but it was so fun! My favorite part though, it would have to be the cake charms! Erin had her baker add 12 charms stuck just under the cake.. she called 12 of her girlfriends up just before the cake cutting and they each pulled their charm and read their fortune about the type of life they would lead..  I loved it! Such a fun way to incorporate more of your friends into a special part of your wedding day! Be sure to check back to see Erin’s Bridal Portraits later!

Austin Bridal Extravaganza!

Just a few instagram snaps from the Austin Bridal Extravaganza this weekend! I was head over heels for my beautiful booth, I got to meet Randy Fenoli from ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ and I did all with a wonderful friend by my side! Thanks for all of the help Chandi! Love you girl!

And of course, a big thanks to all the fun, sweet brides we had the pleasure of talking to! I’m blown away by the response we already received and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Luxe in the coming days! It was so nice to meet y’all and I can’t wait to work with each of you!

Sara & Keiichi | Green Pastures Wedding Photography

Remember Sara & Keiichi from their gorgeous Vista West Ranch Engagement Session? On Saturday, they became Mr. & Mrs. at Green Pastures Restaurant in Austin, TX! I’m not sure what part of this wedding I liked the most.. Exquisite Petals really did a fabulous job with vibrant floral.. Keiichi dedicated an amazing solo on his saxophone to his bride, his new wife.. the grooms cake.. oh I loved the grooms cake!  The slideshow they created.. I think it literally brought tears to their guests eyes. And would you believe they met on match.com? That’s right folks! And their slideshow.. it totally ended with ad advertisement for the site. So fun!

Now, without further adieu..

Allison & Tyler | Austin Wedding Photographer

If you follow me on facebook, you probably saw my post about the bride who planned to wear the same lavaliere necklace her Great Grandmother wore on her wedding day exactly 93 years ago.. Meet Allison!

When I asked Allison if there were any special traditions that I should be aware of on her wedding day, she responded; “My great grandfather moved to the US from Austria to make a home for them with the intention of my great grandmother following shortly after, but WW1 broke out and it was seven years before they could even communicate. My great grandfather wrote to my great grandmother asking her to come to the US and marry him. The day after she arrived they married. I will be wearing the same lavalier necklace that my great grandmother wore on her wedding day which was May 11, 1920. My mother also wore it on her wedding with my father. I am getting married in my mom’s backyard just like she did with my father.”

Allison and Tyler’s wedding was amazing. The love and laughter were abundant! Every single detail was sentimental and oh so heartfelt. Her dress was flawless.. her bouquet was stunning.. the entire wedding had such a unique charm to it! We had a blast at their wedding and I think it’s evident that they did too;)

Danielle & Dennis | Austin Wedding Photographer

Let’s face it.. The Bachelor doesn’t  have the best track record for getting their couples to the altar. That’s no secret. But it is what brought these two love birds together and this past Saturday, they became Mr & Mrs!

So how did a reality TV show bring these two together? Dennis writes a blog about the bachelor.. he follows each season and talks about each episode. Danielle was, at first, simply a reader. After a few months, she decided to email him to tell him how much she enjoyed his blog. To her surprise, he responded.. it began a correspondence back and forth and after about a week, he asked her out  for a drink! A simple drink turned to dinner and dancing turned to Mr. & Mrs.

I’m a sucker for a happily ever after and Danielle definitely got hers! Now you want to read the blog don’t you? Yeah.. you should! After all, it’s his sense of humor that brought these two together to begin with:)

You can find his blog here!

P.S. Read the post about the sex scandal. It’s hilarious.

And now, without further adieu.. their wedding at Spicewood Vineyards! The flowers are amazing, the details are adorable and the couple.. stunning!
